Susanne Perez Lombardo

Susanne Perez graduated from Fort Hamilton in 1996 and went on to earn a degree in math at Wagner College, graduating in 2000.  She began her teaching journey at Shallow JHS,  but her heart remained with the Tigers. In 2001, she returned home to Fort Hamilton and has now been a math teacher at Fort for just about 25 years.

Beyond the classroom, Susanne’s early contributions to the school’s spirit included coaching the cheerleaders in the early 2000’s, and since 2010, she has served as a Senior Advisor where she coordinates what she hopes are some the most cherished milestones of the senior year—including senior trips, the prom, and graduation—ensuring that every Tiger leaves with lifelong memories.

Working alongside the COSA and Activities Coordinator, Susanne is able to be involved in many of Fort Hamiltons community events – dances, concerts, plays, sports, etc., her favorite of which are the games where she is able to watch husband and fellow alumnus Daniel Perez coaching Tiger Football.

She and Danny have been married for almost 15 years and together they have two daughters, Ava and Aliah.
