Linda Ann Mollo-Holmes has lived her life not just as if there were 25 hours in a day but as if there were 30 hours in every day. She has done so many things at the same time and done them so well that it Is almost impossible to believe that one person is doing all this.

Linda attended Fort Hamilton High School from 1969-1972. Even as a student Linda was ultra active in the life of the school. She was Vice-President of the Senior Class, Co-Captain of the Boosters, a member of National Honor society, a member of the Prom Committee, a member of the Senior Show Committee, a Gym Leader, a member of the Consultative Council, a writer for the school newspaper and she did service for teachers as well.

Linda went on to get a B.A. in mathematics from St. John's University in 1976 (where she received the mathematics medal upon graduation) and subsequently get a masters degree in mathematics education from the College of Staten Island. Linda taught math at Notre Dame Academy from 1976 to 1984 and at McKinley Intermediate School from 1984 -present (where she also coordinated the school trip). Linda has also helped hundreds of students pass their mathematics classes and Regents exams by tutoring after school.

Doing all the above things while making a home for her husband Michael and daughter Jamie-Lynn (who is currently attending Fort Hamilton H.S.) would be more than enough for most people. However, Linda became one of the most active members of the Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst community as well. Linda is a founding member of the Fort Hamilton High School Alumni Association, Co-Chair of the 10th, 20th and 25th Class of 72 reunions, as well as a past Vice-President and Reunion Chairperson of the Association. Linda was Essay Chairman of Bay Ridge Community Council for 10 years and served on numerous other committees. She is a member of the Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst Park Task Force, Senator Gentile's Education Committee, the Citizen Action Team, and the Fort Hamilton H.S. P.T.A. Executive Board. Linda also raised funds for memorials to deceased students and to help a young lady and F.H.H.S. graduate who was in a coma. Finally, Linda volunteers for the campaigns of Senator Vincent Gentile and of Joanne Seminara-Lehu.

It is with great pride that the Alumni Association inducts Linda Ann Mollo-Holmes into the Hall of Fame.
