1983
Alumni Association Founded
David Whitebook assembled alumni from classes spanning 1943–1983 to officially form the first school-based FHHS Alumni Association.
First All-Classes Homecoming
Conducted in October, featuring an auditorium ceremony, cafeteria dinner, and school tours for alumni from classes of 1943 through 1983.
1991
Wall of Fame Installed
The FHHS Alumni Wall of Fame was erected just outside the school library. This commemorated the school’s 50th anniversary and serves as a permanent tribute to distinguished alumni.
2004
Barbara Vellucci ’78 Appointed Assistant Principal of Organization
She served in this administration role through 2015, shaping school operations and event coordination.
2005
Transition in Leadership

Doris Munoz begins her tenure as Assistant Principal of ESL & Foreign Languages (serving through 2015).

John Christakos ’86 is appointed Assistant Principal of Science, a role he continues today.

2012
Natasha A. Henry‑Rodriguez ’12 Joins as Educator
After graduating in 2012, she returns as a teacher and later becomes the Alumni Association’s president.
2016
Hall of Fame Dinner Dance at El Caribe
Chaired by Valerie Hodgson ’73, this event honored new inductees into the FHHS Hall of Fame
2024
Latest Hall of Fame Induction
In a ceremony at El Caribe, new inductees included alumni such as Dr. Deeb Salem ’62, Bobby Daquara ’82, Edwin Batiz ’82, Stella Porto ’86, John Christakos ’86, Elliott Lamboy ’88, and State Senator Andrew Gounardes ’03
